Classic Pulp Fiction had many forms over the years from novels like, Tarzan, to pulp magazines like Weird Tales, to radio shows, like the Shadow. In the internet age you can find almost anything pulp, if you know where to look. We’re saving you some of the headache by gathering as much classical pulp fiction as we can. Like the classical radio dramas.

Astounding Outpost presents our latest Astounding Radio feature- the Pop Culture Water Cooler. The weekend Crew Eric, Josh, and Kendall are taking the helm. They are discussing Blade Runner 2049 and looking at the influence the original Blade Runner has on pop culture to this very day.
This 1964 film is a great adaptation of the Richard Matheson I Am Legend. Matheson helped write the screenplay but decided to be credited as “Logan Swanson”. The book inspired Night of the Living Dead(which we showed last week), as well as Omega Man. If you haven’t read the book or seen the Omega Man, you should.
We’ve found it here in a handy double feature I Am Legend / Omega Man (Double-Feature) [Blu-ray]
